If you enjoy shopping, this hotel is well-located. It is not however a great spot for tourism — but a 30 walk to the tourist spots is easy. I chose Fenix because they have private, outdoor hot tubs on their 7th floor terrace. We reserved room 701 but it had a shower over the tub and I don’t like the trip hazard so we upgraded to suite 711 which was excellent. Hot tub heats to 104F/40C but jets are fairly weak. But hey, it’s private so hard to beat. The staff bring all sorts of gifts and goodies to the room every day and the 7th floor lounge has unlimited drinks and food which, if you prefer to eat a good breakfast and dinner quickly, you can save $$ every day. The thai massage is not to be missed. Great staff, stores will deliver your packages to the hotel so you don’t have to lug them around.

Basically, everything and I wish to say that the staff is probably the most valuable asset in this hotel. Of course, it is very clean, classic, and beautiful but without the amazing human touch of the service, hospitality, and kindness I would say it wouldn't have been the same.

Located in a very convenient and safe area of Madrid, walking distance from the city center. The staff was just great, very attentive and helpful. Cleaning personnel was doing an amazing job as well. We also really enjoyed the red level lounge with complimentary food and drinks throughout the day.

Room was very nice, bathroom a little small though. The Bar Lounge and Restaurant are extremely high class and are impeccable..... The Red Zone, Club level, which does cost extra, but well worth it, very beautifully done, with a great breakfast and a kind of brunch from 1.00pm until 11.00pm, is an extra bonus too.... Cannot really criticize anything about the hotel....One of the best I have been in....

- Amazing staff, I had lost my credit card in Madrid right before check-out and concierge were extremely supportive and allowed me to conveniently settle the bill - Location was great - Balcony was amazing with a relaxing atmosphere - Service was sublime, we asked for random things we needed such as AA batteries and we were not let down each time - Red level access has cozy lounge with outdoor area - The bed was heavenly

The room, as always, was very nice. The bathroom was a little small but not unusable. The location is pretty much perfect for anything you'd like to do in Madrid.

The hotel is a place we stay at frequently. The smoothness of the service, the professionalism and friendliness, the sheer quality of the hotel are what keep us coming back. Additionally, the location just can't be beaten.

Location is superb, staff so very professional and aims to please. Lobby has good ambiance. Rooms though somewhat small yet cleanliness of hotel beats all odds

The hotel is fantastic. It's our go-to hotel in Madrid. The facilities are always high quality. The staff are always helpful and we had several good recommendations for places to go and things to do.

I loved the location and neighborhood. So many things to do at walking distance. Lots of nice restaurants in the area. Nice hotel infrastructure and very welcoming personnel. Great breakfast and fantastic bar. Nothing to complain about.
